About us

In 2003 we decided to develop the RODA Omega Oil project which consisted in the production of an organic vegetable oil by cold pressing the seeds of the Sacha Inchi, a native plant of the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest.

To achieve this goal we have planted Sacha Inchi in the Ucayali Region, and we have installed an industrial plantin Lima to process the seeds produced in the plantations. Previously, a detailed analysis of plant ecotypes is made to select the seeds with the highest content of premium quality oil. Furthermore, the machinery has been custom made for us to obtain the maximum content of oil from the seeds.

Now, some years have passed and we are proud to claim that our plantations in
the Rainforest as well as our processing plant in Lima, are organic certified by
Control Union (Skal), and that our sales are increasing with time in the domestic and foreign market.
